I am a PhD student at IMBEI and the department of Radiooncology where I work in the intersection of wet and dry lab. My work focuses on understanding the effect of radiation of different qualities on blood. For that, I irradiate blood and generate transcriptomic datasets, either short or long reads, in which I can dive to fish new insights that can be useful for biodosimetry.
Outside my time pipetting and analyzing datasets, I love nature, listening to music - occasionally playing it - and drawing portraits.
Fun facts: I’ve developed a habit of sending post cards in an unconventional way!
